Google Ads

Google Ads, remarketing, enhanced conversions, audience lists, and Google Signals
On our website, we use various services provided by Google Ads, which is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

Google Ads and conversion tracking
We use Google Ads to place advertisements in Google search results and on the Google advertising network. As part of Google Ads, we use conversion tracking to measure the success of our advertising measures. A cookie is set as soon as a user clicks on a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification.

Advanced conversions
We also use Google Ads with enhanced conversions to make more accurate attributions between ad clicks and conversions. In doing so, certain previously collected and hashed personal data (e.g., email address) may be transmitted to Google. This data is only transmitted in encrypted form and is used exclusively to improve conversion measurement.

Google Remarketing & Target Audience Lists
With the help of Google Remarketing, we can display targeted advertising to users who have already visited our website on other websites within the Google advertising network. To do this, a cookie is set when you visit our website in order to recognize the user.

In addition, we use target group lists in Google Ads to specifically address certain target groups based on their behavior or demographic characteristics. This data is pseudonymized and does not allow any direct conclusions to be drawn about your person.

Google Signals
This website uses Google Signals, a feature of Google Analytics. This provides additional information in Analytics about users who have enabled personalized ads (e.g., cross-device user recognition and interest-based audiences). The data is aggregated and anonymized; no individual personal information is shared.

Legal basis
Your data is processed on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you can give via our cookie consent banner. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transfer to third countries
Google may also process your data in the US. There is currently an adequacy decision by the EU Commission (“EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework”) to which Google LLC has acceded. Nevertheless, a residual risk cannot be ruled out.

The query includes the transmission to Google of the IP address and, if applicable, additional data needed by Google for the reCAPTCHA service. For this purpose, your entry is sent to Google where it is used further. Your IP address is first shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contract states of the agreement of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this service. The IP address transmitted from your browser within the framework of reCaptcha will not be merged with other data from Google.
